REMINDER: We’ll be hosting a Prairie Walking Tour at Pope Farm Conservancy tomorrow, Saturday, August 14th @ 10am.

Free and open to the public.

Jeff Steele from the Madison Chapter of the Wild Ones will be leading us on a one-hour guided tour of the restored prairies of Pope Farm Conservancy. This pleasant walk will also serve as an introduction to prairie ecology and plant identification. Get hints and tips for starting your own “pocket prairie.” Bring your cameras and wear comfortable walking shoes for hiking.
