Winter Adventure at Pope Farm Conservancy

Join the Friends of Pope Farm Conservancy for a guided Winter Walk on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Experience the stark beauty of the season as we trek through snow-dusted prairies and enjoy panoramic views of the winter landscape. Whether you prefer hiking boots, snowshoes, or cross-country skis, bring your own gear for this one-hour adventure. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public with no registration required.

Distance: The guided walk will be 1.5-2 miles, but visitors are welcome to explore additional sections of the 7-mile trail system on their own afterward. 

Meeting Point: Pope Farm Elementary School parking lot (816 Schewe Rd, Middleton, WI 53562).

Preparation: Participants should dress for the weather; trails can be windy on the hills.
